A fabulous example of mid-century modern design; even though there are no makers marks, we are pretty certain it was made in Melbourne, Australia by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd.  The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982.  They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units.  It features;

• drop-front mirror-back drinks cabinet with suspended shelf
• 6 section LP / vinyl / records cabinet
• 4 door cabinet
• complete & matching metal handles
• 6 level adjustable metal legs
• shelf above LP section & dividers removable
• 5 height adjustable timber shelves
• due to the cam & pin fittings, the top can be fully dismantled leaving the base as one piece, making it easy to transport

Condition overview; in good condition relative to its age, it is a solid, well-made piece.  The drop front and doors all work well.  There are no chips or cracks in the mirror.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks
