A lovely sideboard, it is finished on the back, therefore not limited to being placed against a wall – perfect for dividing a space.  Comprising of two separate pieces, we have put them together as a sideboard, however, they also look great separated.  These quality pieces were made by Chiswell, a fine Australian company, renown for producing high-quality pieces.  Established almost 100 years ago, they continue to be one of Australia’s furniture making success stories.  They feature;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to their age, they are very solid, sturdy, beautifully crafted pieces.  All of the drawers and doors work well.  As to be expected on used pieces of this vintage, they display general wear, knock (including to the back bottom right-hand side of the right-hand side one) and surface marks (including to the tops).  In addition, they may have had another section on top, hence the plugged holes on the tops
