This lovely piece was made by Chiswell, a fine Australian company renown for producing high-quality furniture.  Chiswell was established almost 100 years ago and continue to be one of Australia’s furniture making success stories.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition relative to its age, it is a solid, well-made piece.  The doors and drawers all work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks.  It may have had another section on it at one stage, hence two small plugged holes on the top.
