A fabulous queen size bedhead with attached bedsides, it was made by Cressy Furniture, a Sydney NSW based company established in 1951 - unsure but we believe they stopped trading in the 2000’s.  It features;

• teak timber & teak timber veneer construction
• circa 1960’s
• bevel edge head board
• 2 bedside drawers each with 3 drawers
• fabulous rounded edges to the drawers
• complete & matching shaped timber handles
• recessed base
• square cut tapered & splayed legs
• makers label; Cressy Furniture
• detachable bedsides (they are not finished on the back)

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid, sturdy, beautifully crafted piece and all of the drawers work well.  As expected on a piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock (including on the right-hand front facing edge of the left-hand side bedside) and surface marks (to the head board and right-hand side bedside).  Once bed in place with pillows etc, these flaws will not be obvious.
