A fabulous example of mid-century modern design, this superb piece was made in Melbourne, Australia by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd.  The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982.  They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units.  It features;

Condition overview; in good condition relative to its age, it is a beautifully crafted, well-made piece.  The doors and drawer all work well.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks (including to the top where another section sat at one point)
