This fabulous piece was made by TH Brown, a South Australian company established in 1911.  They produced iconic pieces throughout the 1950’s to the 1970’s and remain as one of the success stories of Australian furniture designers and makers.

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is a very solid, sturdy and beautifully crafted piece.  The locks, drawers and doors work well.  As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks.  In addition, it must have had another section that sat on top at one stage, hence the four plugged holes on the top.
