6699 - Retro Mid Century G-Plan E Gomme Teak Sideboard / Cocktail Cabinet – 4 Drawers
A beautifully crafted piece, it was designed by E Gomme for G – Plan between 1952 and 1965. Stamped with a gold embossed stamp, this stamp was used by Gomme on the first range from 1952 and continued into the sixties. G-Plan was branded furniture and every piece was marked with either a stamp or label – each type giving an indication of the year it was made. Known for their superb designs and high-quality craftsmanship, they are much sought after pieces to this day. It features;

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to its age, it is an extremely solid, well-made piece. All of the doors and drawers work well. As expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks. In addition, the handle on the drop front cocktail cabinet has been repaired at some stage.
