This fabulous sideboard was made in Australia by Parker Furniture.  Parker established business in 1935 in Sydney and quickly developed a reputation for producing beautifully designed, quality furniture; hence the timeless designs are much sought after to this day.  It features;

Condition overview; in fair condition (from a finish perspective), in good condition (from a structural perspective), relative to its age, the door, glass sliding doors and drawer all work seamlessly.  There are no cracks or chips in the glass.  As expected on a well-used piece of this vintage, it displays numerous general wear, knock and surface marks.  In addition, repairs have been made at some point to the veneer on the drawer front and to the base of the right-hand side.
