A fabulous example of mid-century modern design, this superb piece was made in Melbourne, Australia by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd.  The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982.  They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units.  It features;

• due to the cam & pin fittings, the top can be dismantled, leaving the base as one piece, making it easy to transport

Condition overview; in good condition relative to its age, it is a beautifully crafted, well-made piece.  The drop front, doors and drawer all work well.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks (including to the inside of the cocktail cabinet).
