A superb matching set, this curvy set of six in the Douglas Snelling style do not have makers labels, therefore we are unable to definitively say that they are Douglas Snelling chairs, even though they have all the hallmarks of his design.  Due to this we can only refer to them as being in the Douglas Snelling style.  They feature;

• vinyl upholstery & maple timber construction
• superb curvy & angular design in the Snelling style
• circa 1950’s
• upholstered, padded & hessian webbing seats
• studded features
• tapered & splayed legs

Condition overview; in good condition, relative to their age.  There are no tears or holes in the upholstery.  As expected on used pieces of this vintage, they display general wear, knock and surface marks.  They have had repairs at some stage and it appears they have been re-glued as part of that process therefore they are all solid and sturdy.
