A fabulous example of mid-century modern design, this superb piece was made by Atel Furniture Pty Ltd.  The firm was established in 1963 in Bathurst (NSW) and was liquidated in 1982.  They were renown for producing high quality, stylish and multi-functional units.  It features;

• drop front cocktail / drinks cabinet
• recessed curved-front shelf in the cocktail cabinet
• 2 door cabinet
• 4 drawers (the top one is a fully-lined cutlery drawer)
• complete & matching inset contoured timber handles
• 6 legs – all have level adjustment mechanisms
• 4 height adjustable timber shelves
• due to the cam & pin fittings, it can be dismantled into as many sections as you want for easy transporting

Condition overview; in good condition relative to its age, it is a beautifully crafted, well-made piece.  All of the doors and drawers work well.  As to be expected on a used piece of this vintage, it displays general wear, knock and surface marks but nothing major to note.
